EXPLOITATION ENGINEER

HOUSTON, TEXAS

Join a leading Energy Company as their experienced Exploitation Engineeer that will be part of the Asset Development Team.

Your duties will be to coordinate the planning and financial activities for the multi-discipline Asset Development Team. Prepare and analyze business plans, economic evaluations, reserves evaluations, production forecasts, expense forecasts, AFE preparation, and capital requirements. Drive the project evaluation process, which includes; scope, identification of critical path and bottlenecks, milestones, tracking, capital efficiency, and resource requirements. Ensure that reservoir development, operations, and facilities activities are fully integrated. This key position will also be the focal point for handling the outside operated entities within the business unit, including analyzing AFE’s and project performance.

 
Required Qualifications:
  • Engineering Degree with a minimum of 5 years Oil & Gas Industry experience in development and operations.
  • Strong business background and understanding of key financial measures.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Leadership skills and ability to effectively interact with other professionals to advance projects/ideas.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team work skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
Additional Desired Qualifications:

Experience with Merak/PEEP, DSS
