Great opportunity to join a world leader in the Energy Industry at their Houston offices. Our client is seeking an experienced Facilities Engineer for their West Texas/New Mexico operations.
| Your key responsibilites will include the designing, maintaining and optimizing upstream onshore West Texas/New Mexico surface facilities and production operations. The fields include primary production, waterflood fields and an expanding number of CO2 flooded fields; total Business Unit production is in the range of 200 MBOPD, 2 MMBWPD and 1.5 BCF/D of CO2 injection. Activities include working with subsurface/wells teams to design and install new facilities needed to address changing production rates; covering all aspects of project management from scope development, detailed design/estimating and project controls. Scope also includes working with Operations/Construction field personnel to troubleshoot operating issues, develop/implement solutions in order to optimize field activities and ensure mechanical integrity of equipment is maintained. There is a strong focus on Health, Environmental and Safety issues, which cover H2S handling, HAZOP type safety reviews, Management of Change (MOC’s) and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR). This role also interfaces with the Specialty Engineering group, and has responsibility to assist engineers in this group when it comes to tings like Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA). |
