| Overall Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities: • Monitor and analyze barriers to optimum efficiency in field, including wells, pipelines and facilities; • Recognize and prepare workover and well performance enhancement opportunity programs; • Work with the team to develop opportunities to enhance production and prioritize downhole work procedures; • Act as a liaison between Calgary and field operations; • Develop and execute capital budget for field production optimization and facility maintenance; and • Monitor and improve operating costs, enhancing net back in area of responsibility.Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required: • University degree in Engineering and a registered APEGGA member; • Minimum 10 years related industry experience directly involved with production engineering; • Understanding of open hole and cased hole logs; • Experience with artificial lift, pump design and pressure transient analysis; • Knowledge of environmental, regulatory and safety guidelines; • Highly organized with excellent project management abilities; • Familiarity with well modeling tools such as Fekete’s Virtual well, Piper and MBA; • Understanding of costs and economic requirements; • Self-motivated and results-oriented; and • Team focused with excellent communication skills. |
