The position will be the Reservoir Engineering Manager for a significant asset. They focus exploration activities in large new or developing plays that provide opportunities to acquire large, undeveloped acreage positions for future drilling operations. They have been extremely successful in targeting unconventional resource plays, where horizontal drilling, advanced fracture stimulation and enhanced recovery technologies facilitate the economic production of oil and natural gas reserves. Position Description:
Applies reservoir management expertise to evaluate various development strategies, monitor and assess reservoir performance and institute recompletion/re-development plans. Has outstanding knowledge of Economic Evaluations, Corporate Commissions involvement a must, fractured carbonate reservoirs and or tight gas reservoirs with good working expertise on geological and engineering modeling under various uncertainty modes, SCAL and PVT modeling applications and on reserves and recovery assessment. Prefer experience with mature assets under water flood using complex and Smart Completion technologies with a prospective for EOR application.
Position Requirements:
Candidate must be versed in economic evaluation for ranking various development options with good working knowledge in drilling and workover operation, well testing design and evaluation, well production design and completion technology, production facilities scoping and management in a multi-discipline reservoir management environment. Candidate is expected to demonstrate interest and skills in training and specialists development of the local professionals. The primary focus with this position will be Economic Evaluations and Corporate affairs interaction.
BS or MS in Petroleum Engineering or associated engineering disciplines. 18+ years experience with 12 years intensive experience in the area of reservoir management.
