As the senior advisor, you will help mentor engineers on all shale hydraulic stimulation jobs whether onsite or remote. Maximize use of real-time fracture diagnostics and simulation. Provide detailed post-job reports on all jobs including modeling of most-likely fracture geometry obtained from net pressure matching and other data.  Provide post-frac well performance forecasting based on fracture geometries approximated from real-time data acquisition and pressure matching. You should have a mastery skills in rock mechanics for hydraulic fracture simulation, designing hydraulic fracturing, diagnostic testing and evaluation of hydraulic fracturing, QA/QC techniques and post-job performance assessment is a required.

Our client, a global energy company, is seeking an experienced Corporate Global Modeling Advisor for their Houston office.  This key role will be an advisor to a start up team as they begin researching, testing and developing state of the art technologies for worldwide implementation.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated innovation in computation and modeling capabilities, with a background preference in downstream or computer science.

The selected candidate will be offered an exceptional base salary, incentive bonus and very generous benefits.

Requirements:

*  At least 10 years post doctorate experience encompassing a very board geoscience or engineering background with computational modeling experience.

*  PhD in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Sciences or Geosciences.

*  Knowledge of geophysical seismic processing, reservoir simulation and reservoir modeling.

*  Oil products and refinery optimization.

*  Both upstream and downstream experience.

*  National and European research laboratory relationships as well as university contacts a must.

*  Ideal candidate will be very well published in the above mentioned fields.

*  Authorized to work without sponsorship in the US.
