EHS Supervisor Air Quality Jobs Oklahoma OK
Our Client, a large E&P organization has an immediate need for a talented individual for the position of EHS Supervisor. This position is based at the corporate headquarters and will report to EHS Manager. Our client is one of the largest producers in the nation and the most active driller of new wells in the U.S. Their strategy is focused on discovering, acquiring and developing conventional and unconventional reserves in the U.S. This position will be responsible for assisting the Operations division in maintaining compliance with Federal, State and local air regulations and company polices. This position requires an in-depth knowledge of Federal and State air permitting requirements and compliance for Exploration and Production Operations including 40 CFR Part 63 Subpart HH and ZZZZ. In addition, the EHS Supervisor – Air Programs should be familiar with proposed air quality regulations that could impact production operations. The Air Programs supervisor must possess the ability to communicate effectively with staff and field personnel as well as senior management.
Qualifications In addition, responsibilities will include:
· Supervise and direct work assignments of the permitting and compliance Air staff
· Consult with and advises EHS management on Air matters for Operations division
· Represent the company in specific trade associations
· Work closely with the Corporate Regulatory Group to ensure regulatory compliance
· Responsible for identification of appropriate Air training programs for Air Program staff and field personnel
· Manage the process of emission inventory data acquisition and the submittal of emission inventories and GHG reporting.
· Responsible for expansion of the permit and compliance tracking database.
· Strong computer application skills (including Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel and Outlook) are a necessity as we as excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to interact with field personnel and senior company management.
A bachelor of science degree in Engineering is strongly preferred but may consider other physical or biological science degree with strong industry experience. A minimum of ten years in Environmental, Health and Safety supervisory experience in the oil and natural gas (preferably with an exploration and production company/operator) is required.
