SENIOR RESERVOIR ENGINEER ADVISOR UNCONVENTIONAL

HOUSTON, TEXAS

Great opportunity to join a Global Energy Company in their Houston office.

As an experienced Senior Reservoir Engineer you will have the unique opportunity to serve on the Company’s central Shale team. 

In addition, you will provide expertise in the following:

 
* Share best practices on shale characterization and development concepts to BU’s

* Lead multi-functional teams in framing, planning, and conducting shale development or performance review studies

* Provide general reservoir engineering services on shale development in support of business units

* Coordinate collection of analog data on shale development and share data with business units

* Participate in or lead peer reviews of business unit projects/assets

* Represent the Firm in JIP’s 

Ideal Candidate will have the following required qualifications:
* B.S. or higher in Petroleum Engineering

* At least 15 years experience in reservoir engineering with emphasis on shale characterization and development

* More than 5 years experience managing development of shale reservoirs

* Strong level of knowledge of use of analytical or numerical tools to forecast shale reservoir performance

* Strong leadership skills

* Strong business and customer focus

* Excellent communication skills

* Good team player

RESERVOIR ENGINEER

Join this cutting edge Energy Company in their Houston office.  As one of the key Reservoir Engineers you will be able to develop and sharpen your skills in both waterflooding and CO2 flooding areas.  Development and step-out drilling, new project development, pattern expansions and surveillance, enhancement opportunities, business planning and reserves growth will be key drivers for this challenging assignment.
To be considered for this position you must possess the following required qualifications:
  • BS in Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years upstream oil & gas experience with 2 years in reservoir engineering focusing on secondary or enhanced oil recovery.
  • Demonstrated results in adding value through solid engineering and business / economic techniques.
  • Ability to make technically sound decisions and recommendations with less than perfect or complete input data.
  • Ability to interact in a cross-functional team environment and represent the company with other working interest partners.
  • Ability to be viewed as a leader on projects.
  • Ability to get a project pass the idea and design stage.
  • Business planning and reserves knowledge.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to be creative and the desire to solve problems.
Additional Desired Qualifications:
  • CO2 experience would be a benefit.
  • Knowledge in geologic models.

EXPLOITATION ENGINEER

HOUSTON, TEXAS

Join a leading Energy Company as their experienced Exploitation Engineeer that will be part of the Asset Development Team.

Your duties will be to coordinate the planning and financial activities for the multi-discipline Asset Development Team. Prepare and analyze business plans, economic evaluations, reserves evaluations, production forecasts, expense forecasts, AFE preparation, and capital requirements. Drive the project evaluation process, which includes; scope, identification of critical path and bottlenecks, milestones, tracking, capital efficiency, and resource requirements. Ensure that reservoir development, operations, and facilities activities are fully integrated. This key position will also be the focal point for handling the outside operated entities within the business unit, including analyzing AFE’s and project performance.

 

Required Qualifications:
  • Engineering Degree with a minimum of 5 years Oil & Gas Industry experience in development and operations.
  • Strong business background and understanding of key financial measures.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Leadership skills and ability to effectively interact with other professionals to advance projects/ideas.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team work skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
Additional Desired Qualifications:

Experience with Merak/PEEP, DSS
