Our client a leading E + P production company is seeking an experienced Director level role to assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of a major Gas Mechanical Integrity (MI) program.  In the key management role, you will aassist in the development, implementation and maintenance of a major Gas Mechanical Integrity (MI) program.  Ensure that the developed MI procedures, processes, systems and practices provide continued integrity of the business unit facilities for their required operational life.  Act as discipline expert and consultant to State business units in respect to MI requirements including day to day production operations, inspection, testing and remediation techniques, technology identification, best practices sharing, failure and root cause analysis.   Participate and contribute as an MI expert in Peer Assists, Reviews and Audits.

 
 
Required Qualifications:
• Position requires a high degree of competency in people skills and listening skills, both of which are aimed at getting the best performance out of the team.
• Technical knowledge of multi-engineering disciplines to ensure overall MI knowledge
• Track record of identifying new technologies and innovative techniques
• Degree in Engineering discipline with minimum 15 years’ experience and with minimum 10 years’ experience in the Mechanical Integrity and in-service inspection of operational facilities covering plant, field equipment and pipeline gathering systems, (with direct experience in MI management of numerous widespread field satellites, tank batteries and associated non-regulated pipelines.)

Senior Staff Reservoir Engineer

Our Client is seeking talented individuals for the position of Senior Reservoir Engineer.  This position is based at the Oklahoma City, OK office and reports to the Manager – Reservoir Engineering. We are actively seeking those with the drive and energy to join the most active drilling company in the U.S. and a desire to be part of a growing enterprise and who value the opportunity to engineer conventional and non-conventional onshore U.S. gas focused assets.   Candidates should be proficient in all areas of Reservoir Engineering including well test analysis, material balance, secondary recovery methods, performance analysis, fluid properties, volumetric recovery methods and project economics.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating project development and implementation with geoscience, drilling, production, and land professionals.
  • Integrating well performance/nodal analysis, pressure transient analysis, material balance, volumetric and decline curve analyses in the evaluation are essential.
  • Performing field and screening studies of existing assets and potential acquisitions, including associated economic analyses.
  • Acquiring and analyzing the necessary test data used to define accurate reservoir characterization.
  • Exploration project evaluations include probabilistic analyses and providing monitoring and surveillance programs for reservoir performance, and coordinate these programs to determine if the development plan is conforming to management strategy.

Qualifications include:

  • Ten (10) plus years of industry experience with a minimum of five (5) years reservoir engineering experience.
  • Expertise in economic evaluation and reserve assessment for exploration programs, development drilling programs, workovers and production optimization opportunities.
  • Knowledge and practical application of volumetric calculations, decline curve reserve determinations, appropriate analogue techniques and material balance assessments.
  • Skills associated with reservoir simulation techniques considered a plus.
  • Aries for reserve reporting and economic calculations. Previous Aries experience is not required but is considered a benefit to any potential candidate.
  • All business decisions are made in a team environment.  Successful candidates should have a broad understanding of the E&P business and be willing and able to communicate effectively with their peers in Geology, Operations and Drilling.
  • Mentoring of less experienced and inexperienced individuals is required.  Candidates should be patient but also willing to leverage the maximum work volume by delegating lesser tasks to associate engineers and engineering technicians.
  • Especially interested in unconventional experience associated with tight gas reservoirs, CBM development and shale gas resource work.

Also Required: A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering

In this key role, you will evaluate oil and gas reserves, systems, pipelines and markets in order to support lending and investment decisions. Frequent travel may be involved, primarily in U.S and Canada. Our client, an active operator in the Texas Panhandle and Western Oklahoma, is seeking an experienced Reservoir Engineer for their office in San Antonio, Texas.

The job duties and responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Reservoir management including volumetrics and pressure transient analysis to estimate reserves and characterize various reservoirs to define proper spacing of horizontal wells
  • Perform nodal analysis studies to optimize artificial lift methods on operated wells
  • Perform decline analysis and reserve determination
  • Complete economic runs to determine the viability of various farm out and acquisition scenarios
  • Coordinate core analysis and PVT analysis on developing plays
  • Additional experience with production operations and drilling is a plus

Experience and skills required:

  • BS in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum of 10 years of industry experience with a minimum of five years in applicable reservoir engineering positions and duties.
  • Must be able to work autonomously and identify as well as develop and execute various reservoir projects.  Must also be able to work in conjunction with production and drilling departments in identifying drill candidates and well optimization candidates
  • Experience with WIM, Prosper, Aries and Powertools or comparable programs a strong plus

This Company is one of the largest producers of natural gas in the nation and the most active driller of new wells in the U.S.  Their strategy is focused on discovering, acquiring and developing conventional and unconventional natural gas reserves onshore in the U.S., primarily in the Barnett Shale of north-central Texas, the Haynesville Shale of East Texas and northwestern Louisiana, the Fayetteville Shale of central Arkansas and the Marcellus Shale of the northern Appalachian Basin.  

This position is based in Fort Worth, TX and will report to the EH&S Manager – Environmental Programs.

The EHS Specialist should have the ability to demonstrate full technical competence related to environmental and regulatory affairs associated with the exploration, production, drilling, gas processing, and oil and gas service industry, and the ability to recognize and appropriately address any environmental issue related to an assigned area of business.

  • Planning and conducting assignments; solving complex problems and generating opportunities to enhance environmental performance and ensure environmental compliance.

Position Description:

Has outstanding knowledge of Economic Evaluations, Corporate Commissions involvement a must, fractured carbonate reservoirs and or tight gas reservoirs with good working expertise on geological and engineering modeling under various uncertainty modes, SCAL and PVT modeling applications and on reserves and recovery assessment. Prefer experience with mature assets under water flood using complex and Smart Completion technologies with a prospective for EOR application.

Position Requirements:

Candidate must be versed in economic evaluation for ranking various development options with good working knowledge in drilling and workover operation, well testing design and evaluation, well production design and completion technology, production facilities scoping and management in a multi-discipline reservoir management environment. Candidate is expected to demonstrate interest and skills in training and specialists development of the local professionals. The primary focus with this position will be Economic Evaluations and Corporate affairs interaction.

BS or MS in Petroleum Engineering or associated engineering disciplines. 18+ years experience with 12 years intensive experience in the area of reservoir management.
